In March 2019, the Clarus Group principals delivered a day-long training to West Springfield officials with procurement responsibilities. The training covered the legal requirements and best practices for purchasing construction services and materials under the state’s construction laws as well as supplies and services subject to M.G.L. c. 30B. Dan and Pamela also discussed the guiding principles of public purchasing and key purchasing controls that help organizations function properly and achieve their purchasing objectives.
