In March 2008, the Massachusetts Department of Education (DOE) issued a District Leadership Evaluation Report on the Randolph Public Schools. After declaring the district an underperforming school district, the DOE appointed Matt George, former Brockton Superintendent, and Dan Ahern and Pamela Bloomfield of Clarus Group to a district review team responsible for evaluating the leadership capacity of the district. The District Leadership Evaluation Report prepared by Clarus Group contained a series of findings and recommendations designed to help ensure that the District has the leadership and support that will be necessary for sustained improvement.
The report was based on document reviews, data analyses, and extensive interviews and focus group sessions with district and town leaders, parents, students, and community members.
